Helping two schools within Rutgers University develop strong, yet individual, visual identities.
The Supply Chain Management program of Rutgers Business School wanted to produce a fact sheet about their accomplishments. I proposed a splashy, oversized poster featuring successes and statistics. It was a look that was later adapted to pieces honoring a team of students and graduates of the program who won a prestigious global competition.
In 2013, as the School of Engineering celebrated its 150th anniversary, they took the opportunity to reexamine the School’s communications, which had no unifying look. I created an array of event materials for their big annual fundraiser, the Medal of Excellence Awards Dinner, which included invitations, a sponsorship mailer, advertising, and a 32-page program. On the heels of the dinner’s success, I was asked to design an elegant and flexible template system for their ongoing print communications.
