
Andrus
Bringing an identity to an organization that was hiding in plain sight.
Andrus, a Yonkers, New York facility that has helped children with emotional challgenes for nearly a century, had little recognition in the Westchester community it served.
Andrus came to Bud Lavery Design and Seaver Interactive to do an overhaul of their website and create their 2021 Annual Report to support fundraising efforts. The tight schedule for the report required us to quickly learn about the great works they do for children and families and to reintroduce this important organization to the community.
We focused the report on what people didn't know about Andrus, and in the process, we developed a new visual vocabulary that was accessible, professional, kid-friendly, and above all, hopeful.
The client was so thrilled with the Report that they asked us to do a complete design exploration of all their materials, including their logo. Once that was completed, we created a brand style guide that put into words and visuals what the new Andrus brand was all about.
That guide provided an essential roadmap for the redevelopment of the website the following year.
